Palm Springs High School was briefly locked down Thursday after an anonymous phone threat that police later determined was not credible.
Officers responded to the campus at 2401 E. Baristo Road, where they conducted classroom sweeps before declaring the site safe, according to Palm Springs police.
Details of the threat were not released.
The lockdown was lifted after the campus was cleared by 1 p.m., and all students and staff were deemed safe, the Palm Springs Unified School District said in a statement.
