MORRIS HEIGHTS (WABC) -- Residents voiced their concerns about a dangerous roadway near the George Washington Bridge in the Bronx and what needs to be done to improve car safety in the area.

The roadway in question is an exit ramp near the intersection of the Cross Bronx Expressway and University Avenue.

On Tuesday, an MTA bus jumped the curb leaving 4 people injured.

Residents say a protected bike lane makes the exit ramp too tight for larger vehicles.

The crash this week is putting the intersection under a microscope.

The main concern is for larger vehicles making a right from University Avenue.

The MTA was at the intersection on Thursday assessing whether the protected bike lane on the ramp toward the Washington Bridge is the issue.
