KANSAS CITY, Kan. —
A man was rushed to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries after an incident outside a Kansas City, Kansas, bank.
A spokesperson for Kansas City, Kansas Police said the incident happened around 3:30 p.m. at the Bank of Labor near North 8th Street and Minnesota Avenue. Advertisement
Investigators are working to determine what led up to the incident, but say the shooting potentially happened in the drive-through for the bank, but not inside a vehicle.
It is believed a security guard fired shots at a man in that bank drive through after an altercation.
The person who was shot, identified only as an adult male, was rushed to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The security guard remained on scene and is cooperating with police.
