MARYLAND – The Justice Department revealed why the FBI searched the home and office of John Bolton, former National Security Adviser during President Trump’s first term.

The searches were part of a criminal investigation into accusations that Bolton mishandled classified records. This information was disclosed in paperwork made public by the Department of Justice in court.
