SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. (WBKO) - Tri-County Electric Membership Corporation unveiled two new charging stations in downtown Scottsville.
Chief Executive Officer of Tri-County Electric Membership Corporation Glenn Hale says the stations will keep locals from having to go further away and be more efficient with their time.
“Before, they would have had to have gone to Bowling Green, maybe, or a larger area to be able to charge their vehicle or do it from home, which is much slower,” he said.
Scottsville Mayor David Burch believes this will be a great opportunity for tourism in the city.
“If you’re somewhere else and you need to get a quick charge, you can come to Scottsville, which maybe you weren’t normally coming to Scottsville,” Burch said.
