WARREN COUNTY, Ky. (WBKO) - Multiple people were injured in a single-vehicle accident on I-65 Saturday afternoon.
According to a post on Facebook by the Warren County Fire Department, it happened around 2 p.m. at mile marker 42.6.
They said multiple bystanders pulled off the road to assist before units arrived at the scene.
When the Smiths Grove Rescue 30 arrived at the scene, they found a vehicle that had rolled over multiple times off the road and at least one person trapped inside.
Fire and EMS personnel performed an extrication on the passenger side door.
People were treated at the scene. One person was transported by ambulance to a local medical facility; another person had to be airlifted to a regional trauma center.
