FRONT ROYAL -- Candidates running for a seat on the Warren County Board of Supervisors agree that current board members should have left Samuels Public Library alone.

Happy Creek District voters can choose from two candidates to serve as their next supervisor. Tony F. Carter and Bryan Scott Turnmeyer seek the Happy Creek seat held currently by Chairman Jerome K. “Jay” Butler, who is not running for re-election.

The Front Royal-Warren County Chamber of Commerce hosted a candidates forum on Wednesday night at the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel. About 70 people attended. Questions asked of the candidates came from the chamber and from the public.
