BOISE, Idaho — Idaho-based artist Heather Hainsworth will be featured at the Art Source Gallery in downtown Boise throughout the month of September.
Hainsworth paints contemporary landscapes inspired by public lands in Idaho and from her travels.
"Public lands are some of the greatest jewels of our country,” Hainsworth said. “They inspire creativity, offer access to nature, and preserve vital ecosystems and history.”
Her exhibit “Inspiration on Public Lands” pays tribute to America’s national parks and conservation areas, focusing on the beauty of the natural world. She uses bright, bold colors and textured surfaces to capture wildlife and landscapes.
The opening reception is from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 4 at 1516 W. Grove St. in the Linen District. The public can attend th
