Three men were hauled before a court following a drunken brawl in Bury town centre. A judge told Oliver Ashcroft, Craig Roscoe and Taylor Wolstencroft 'it's not exactly macho, is it?' after they were caught on CCTV fighting with another group on Silver Street.

The brawl broke out after a member of the opposing group allegedly smashed a bottle and attacked a friend of the defendants, leaving him with a cut to his neck, Minshull Street Crown Court heard.

Ashcroft, 23, was the first to retaliate, followed by Roscoe, 31, and then Wolstencroft, 22. They were all seen flailing their arms, throwing punches, kicking those who fell to the ground and throwing items at them.
