ANN ARBOR, MI — Friends and supporters of an Ann Arbor school community are voicing concerns about federal immigration agents reportedly arresting a local father early Thursday after the man dropped off his child at school.
Administrators at Lakewood Elementary notified families via email the afternoon of Thursday, Sept. 4, that they had received numerous reports of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials in the area before the parent was detained on a residential street near Jackson Road.
