Investors remain ‘fixated’ on prospect of rate cuts

CommSec’s Tom Piotrowski analyses the US markets, claiming investors are “fixated” on the possibility of future rate cuts.

“We’ve seen short-term interest rates in particular fall to their lowest levels in a year,” Mr Piotrowski said.

“Investors are now fixated on the prospect of more rate cuts from the US Central Bank.”
