(FOX40.COM) - The City of Marysville announced Thursday that the future of the burned-down Hotel Marysville site will be discussed at an upcoming town hall meeting. • Historic Marysville hotel destroyed by flames

The five-story historic hotel went up in flames in June 2024. At the time, firefighters responded to reports of heavy smoke coming from the second and third floors. Within about an hour, small flames turned into a fiery scene. Subsequently, the building was deemed a total loss and demolished in December of 2024.

Since Hotel Marysville's demolition, the lot, located at 420 5th Street, has remained empty. The City of Marysville, which acquired the property after it filed a lawsuit against the former owners after the fire, is set to host a town hall meeting designed to give residen
