BLACK ROCK CITY, Nev. – Authorities have identified the man found dead at the Burning Man Festival as a 37-year-old from Washington.
The Pershing County Sheriff's Office reported that the man, Vadim Kruglov of Tacoma, was found in a pool of blood at the annual art and music gathering. The Washoe Medical Examiner's Office pronounced Kruglov dead at the scene on August 30.
Investigators are treating the case as a homicide. Burning Man organizers have stated they are fully cooperating with the investigation.
