Pierre Poilievre describes PM Mark Carney's first five months in power as 'a big show about nothing'

That’s how Canada’s Conservative party leader described Prime Minister Mark Carney’s first summer in power — three months in which almost nothing was accomplished.
“It has been the ‘Seinfeld Summer’ — a big show about nothing,” Pierre Poilievre said Thursday afternoon at a press conference in Mississauga.
“He made a big show about austerity in government spending after he advised Justin Trudeau to double the national debt and caused the worst inflation in 40 years, and now Mr. Carney says he’s going to have a bit show about austerity.”
