KEARNEY, Mo. (KCTV) - A man accused of using a pet-sitting job to attempt to pay for sexual favors from a teenager could be ordered to serve multiple life sentences if he is found guilty.

Clay County, Missouri, Circuit Court records filed on Friday, Aug. 29, were unsealed on Thursday, Sept. 4, after Jeffrey T. Emmons, 59, of Kearney, posted his $250,000 bond for child sex trafficking charges.

A probable cause statement filed by the Kearney Police Department revealed that on June 26, the victim and her mother reported that a man had asked for pornographic photos in exchange for money.
