Santa Fe High School was put on lockdown and several other nearby schools were put under shelter-in-place orders around midday Thursday after Santa Fe police received an anonymous threat that turned out to be unsubstantiated.
The threat, which came as an anonymous call, "specifically mentioned the use of 'C-4 and a gun' to cause harm," district spokesperson Tara Melton wrote in an email to parents Thursday afternoon.
Police "received information concerning a threat at Santa Fe High School and [New Mexico] School for the Arts" Santa Fe police Deputy Chief Ben Valdez wrote in an email. There were no injuries, he added.
