QUINCY (WGEM) - Most men believe they’re healthy, but almost half of U.S. men do not eat healthy or get an annual physical, according to a study from the Cleveland Clinic.

A men’s health fair in Quincy this weekend aims to break that stigma.

The 5th annual Man Up event takes place in South Park on Saturday, Sept. 6.

Men of all ages are invited to this event, where they can receive several free health check-ups from several Quincy Medical Group doctors.

“We offer all different types of free screening,” said Dr. Imran Shaikh, internal/obesity/sleep medicine doctor. “Blood pressure check, EKG, lab work, basic stuff like cholesterol, prostate, PSA levels.”

Shaikh said there will be a multitude of specialized doctors on hand, such as dermatology, gastroenterology and urology.
