NEW YORK (PIX11) -- Bus riders in the city have a lot to say about their trips. The New York City Comptroller's Office is ranking the rides and proving the concerns.

Researchers in the New York City Comptroller’s office looked at all 332 routes in the city for a year, from last summer to this summer.

The report card for each route is based on new real-time arrival data for each route provided by the MTA to the comptroller's office.

Comptroller Brad Lander says 56% of the buses got a "D or F" grade.

"They're all bunched up, done come as scheduled and then creep along through traffic," Comptroller Lander said.
