A man riding an electric scooter in Mercer County was badly hurt after being hit by a vehicle, according to a spokesperson with the Ewing Police Department.
The crash happened around 4:15 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4 in the area of Bear Tavern and Jacobs Creek roads, police said.

A 55-year-old man was riding on an electric scooter when he crossed into the oncoming traffic and was hit by a vehicle that was going in the opposite direction, officials explained.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital where he was placed in critical condition.
The Ewing Police Department is still investigating the crash.
