ROCKFORD, Ill. — The Rockford Symphony Orchestra and Coronado Theatre have unveiled the upcoming performing arts season for the Stateline area. Local leaders emphasize the longstanding importance of the arts in the Rockford community.

Rockford Mayor Tom McNamara highlighted the significance of the arts, saying, "These events and performances remind us of how special it is that we have a thriving arts community in Rockford."

Throughout the season, the RSO and Coronado Theatre collaborate with 19 organizations, offering a diverse range of theatre, dance, and music. One of these partners is the Rockford Dance Company , which teams up with the RSO annually for a performance of "The Nutcracker." Auditions for this production are set for Saturday, September 6th.
