PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - Palestinians living in Oregon joined elected officials in front of Portland City Hall on Thursday in support of the “Block the Bombs” Act.

The group is urging Oregon’s Congressional delegation—made up of six representatives and two senators—to sponsor a bill that would significantly limit President Donald Trump’s ability to send weapons to Israel.

Portland City Council members along with state representatives and Palestinian community members spoke in front of city hall to urge Oregon lawmakers to sponsor the bill.

Representatives Val Hoyle and Suzanne Bonamici have already signed on to be co-sponsors of the bill.

FOX 12 has reached out to the rest of the members of the delegation, but have not yet received their responses.
