WAILUKU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A longtime contest is set to return to the Maui County Fair next month.

The Healthy Baby Contest will take place on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, at 11 a.m. on the entertainment stage at the War Memorial Special Events Complex.

Dating all the way back to the 1950s, the contest has served as a celebration of the health and well-being of the youngest children within Maui’s community.

It also aims to provide information and resources for families to support healthy living.

The contest is open to infants and toddlers up to 36 months and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Other credentials such as a birth certificate copy may be required as proof of age.
