QUINCY (WGEM) - The Adams County Coroner identified the man who died after a crash on Broadway Wednesday night .

Coroner Scott Graham identified 40-year-old Daniel R. Patterson, of Quincy, as the man who died in the crash.

According to the Quincy Police Department, they responded to a crash at 25th and Broadway. They said a vehicle had struck another vehicle and continued to travel for another three blocks before coming to a stop.

Police said they made contact with Patterson and determined he was experiencing a medical emergency.

Police reported Patterson was taken to Blessing Hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Police added, the driver of the second vehicle was transported to Blessing Hospital by private vehicle for evaluation.
