PAT MCAFEE has issued an apology after remarks he made about a popular NFL TV show.
Ahead of the 2025 season, the NFL RedZone announced it would be airing with advertisements for the first time in its 16-year history.
McAfee responded to the news by trying to justify the inclusion, believing he was speaking for the majority of fans, despite the show's previous promise of an ad-free run.
However, on Thursday McAfee backpedalled on his comments after intense backlash from fans.
The former All-Pro star started the show by saying: "I responded to Scott Hanson with saying, ‘We don’t care.'
"Now when I said ‘we,’ I did think I was speaking for a large portion of people.
"But when I said ‘we don’t care,’ what I meant was ‘we’re still gonna watch. We’re still gonna watch.’
