Here’s what we recommend for this weekend:

Enjoy Oktoberfest celebration

Zion Lutheran Church of Petoskey is hosting its annual Oktoberfest celebration, dinner and silent auction on Saturday, Sept. 6.

There will be live music by Owen James and the Feels, a bounce house, a root beer garden, soft pretzels, yard games and a grilled bratwurst and fried chicken dinner at 5:30 p.m. Proceeds from the silent auction will benefit the Nehemiah Project.

The fun begins at 4 p.m. For more information, visit facebook.com/events .
