BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - Friday will start off dry, but we will have a cold front move through the area this afternoon.

This will bring us scattered storms with the potential of some of them being severe. Storms will begin to arrive around 4 p.m. this afternoon and last into Saturday morning.

The main risk for these storms is isolated hail with gusty winds. There is an isolated risk of tornadoes, but that threat will quickly end as the sun sets.

This Weekend: Storms will linger into Saturday morning. Cooler conditions are in store for this weekend with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Remaining pleasant and dry.

Next Week: Temperatures will continue to warm up, reaching near 90 degrees by the end of next week.
