All the while, peak daily temperatures continue to slowly but surely decrease as autumn approaches in a little over 2 weeks. Tonight, expect isolated showers and thunderstorms with overnight lows reaching the low sixties. Peak rainfall potential is tomorrow. Scattered to widespread showers and thunderstorms will bring heavy rain, gusty winds, and lightning across the region today, tomorrow and Sunday.
