CHICO, Calif. - The City of Chico plans to file its second motion concerning the Warren Settlement on September 10.

The second motion, which was supposed to be filed last week, has been delayed until next Wednesday.

The City of Chico filed its first motion with the court in early August and has agreed to wait to file the second motion with the court to secure an October hearing date with Legal Services of Northern California (LSNC).

The LSNC confirmed to Action News Now the city's filing date but declined to provide further details. Recently, the LSNC opposed the city's first motion, which seeks clarification on whether the settlement applies to the eight plaintiffs or the entire homeless population in Chico.
