The official teaser trailer for this year’s big Cannes sale, Lynne Ramsay ‘s Die, My Love starring Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson has landed and it’s a wild ride.

The movie follows a mother named Grace (played by Lawrence) in rural America, battling psychosis as it takes a toll on her and husband (played by Pattinson). Sissy Spacek, Nick Nolte and LaKeith Stanfield also star.

Grace tries to find her identity with a new baby in the isolated environment. Yet as she begins to unravel, it’s not in weakness but imagination, strength and a stunning untamed vivacity that she discovers herself anew.

Deadline’s Damon Wise called the film a “brutal but beautiful story of a married woman’s mental disintegration” in his review out of Cannes. He also posited that Lawrence’s perfor
