We have not seen director Lynne Ramsay in a while. Recall that in 2013, she abruptly dropped out of the Natalie Portman western, Jane Got a Gun at the last minute, which was not the first time she’d bailed on a project (she also left as original director of Lovely Bones ). She returned in 2017 with Joaquin Phoenix’s You Were Never Really Here , but disappeared again for several more years only to resurface now with the trailer for Die My Love .
