BOWDOINHAM, Maine — An adult and two juveniles were taken into custody Friday several hours after an alleged burglary at a home in Bowdoinham and a search for the individuals that prompted a school lockdown.
Sagadahoc County Sheriff Joel Merry said dispatchers first received a call reporting a burglary at a home on Post Road around 7:15 a.m. alleging that three individuals were involved in the incident.
The Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Office said they were told the individuals made threatening remarks to a local resident, including mention of a gun. No firearm has been recovered, but investigators are looking into the claim.
