The Texas Rangers activated pitcher Cole Winn from the 15 day injured list yesterday. To make room for Winn on the active roster, the Rangers have placed pitcher Danny Coulombe on the 15 day injured list with left shoulder fatigue, retroactive to September 1.

Winn last appeared in a major league game on August 19, when he allowed two runs to the Royals in a 5-2 loss. He made a rehab appearance for Round Rock on Tuesday, and threw a scoreless inning. In 31 innings so far this season for Texas, Winn has a 1.45 ERA, a 3.95 FIP and a 3.88 xERA.

Coulombe was acquired from the Minnesota Twins at the trade deadline in exchange for 2024 6th round draft pick Garrett Horn. The move appeared to be a coup, as Coulombe had put up a 1.16 ERA and a 2.01 FIP in 31 innings over 40 appearances for the Twi
