Experts have warned against using counterfeit weight loss medication bought online amid a major price increase for Mounjaro.
The cost of the medication could rocket by 170 per cent this month, it was reported.
Researchers from cybersecurity brand Avast said criminal networks were running a global scam involving more than 5,000 pharmacy sites named “PharmaFraud” - posing a ‘dangerous threat’.

And Google Trends suggested searches for ‘cheaper Mounjaro’ skyrocketed by 100 per cent at the end of August.
