Scots Still Look for Big Win Total

An undefeated season is no longer in the picture for Highland Park football.

No matter.

There are lots of wins still on the table.

“We can still go 15-1,” said running back Isaiah Lee.

It’s a lofty goal, but not one that the Scots are incapable of. Over the past 20 seasons, they’ve had at least a 14-win season five times. They were 15-1 in 2017 and 16-0 twice in that span.

Glittering won-loss records are a Scots thing.

Then again, so is playing a tough schedule. Friday night’s Week 2 contest against Lucas Lovejoy brings another test.
