KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — A Maryville man has been convicted on multiple charges connected to a stabbing that left three people injured at a bar in Bearden on New Year's Day in 2024, the Knox County District Attorney General's Office said.
District Attorney Charme Allen's office said Shawn Edward Hatcher, 50, was convicted of two counts of aggravated assault, as well as charges of assault and unlawful possession of a weapon. Hatcher's sentencing has been set for October 24, where he faces six to 10 years on each count of aggravated assault.
