The mysterious interstellar 'alien ship' hurtling through our solar system has a "hidden friend" that could crash into Mars, according to a shocking new theory. Harvard boffin Avi Loeb has been suggesting the giant mass heading Earth's way may actually be an extraterrestrial space vehicle. ‌

The consensus among astronomers and scientists is that the unidentified object , dubbed with the catchy name 3I/ATLAS, is a massive, frozen comet. They also agree that it is releasing loads of carbon dioxide gas (CO2). ‌
