DANVILLE, Ill. (WCIA) -- A teenager was arrested on Thursday in connection to a home invasion and aggravated battery that occurred in Danville earlier this week.

Danville Police officials said that at 11:28 p.m. on Monday, patrol officers were dispatched to the area of Park and Commercial Streets for a home invasion that had just occurred. Responding officers located an injured person, who was subsequently transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Officers identified the suspect as 19-year-old Landyn Reardon of Danville. He was located on Thursday and arrested.

Reardon was booked into the Vermilion County Jail on preliminary charges of: • Home invasion • Aggravated battery with great bodily harm • Aggravated battery deadly weapon (other than a firearm)
