Beginning at 8 p.m. Saturday, eastbound Interstate 70 will be reduced to one lane between Callaway County Route M and U.S. Route 54 in Kingdom City, according to a news release from the Missouri Department of Transportation.

The eastbound lane closures are expected to last until 6 a.m. Sunday, according to a MoDOT representative.

The project is part of construction to improve the interstate and add a third lane in each direction.

The department said no road work is planned before Saturday’s game. Mid-Missouri News
