The University of Missouri Board of Curators announced Friday that Mun Choi’s will continue to act as the president of the UM System through 2031.

Board Chair Todd Graves announced the extension Choi's contract during the board’s public meeting in Columbia on Friday.

Choi has led the UM System since 2017 and became the University of Missouri - Columbia chancellor in 2020.

Gov. Mike Kehoe praised University of Missouri System President Mun Y. Choi following the announcement.
