Stevens Point USDA Office lease extended to 2027 after DOGE termination

STEVENS POINT - Those who are working on rural development projects in central Wisconsin will continue to visit Stevens Point following a lease renewal for office space .

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Office of Rural Development extended its lease on office space at 5417 Clem’s Way in Stevens Point until Sept. 30, 2027, Veronica Hinke, USDA public information officer, told a Stevens Point Journal reporter in an email.
