MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) -Large-scale art installations are lighting up the night sky on Madison’s east side as GLEAM returns for a 10th year.

The annual outdoor art exhibit at Olbrich Botanical Gardens, features light installations created by local, regional, and international designers.

Covering 16-acres, visitors can explore the gardens after dark now through Oct. 25 Wednesdays through Saturdays.

“There’s installations that have interactive components, there’s installations that have sound,” explained Katy Nodolf, Olbrich Gardens PR and marking manager. “It’s a magical walk through the gardens at night which maybe people have never been out in the gardens at night and that’s an experience in itself.”

The 10th anniversary event is themed on reflection.
