BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — A Chickasaw man has died after a crash in Baldwin County on Thursday, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

According to an ALEA news release, 65-year-old Thomas Oliver Swindle Jr. died in the crash, which happened on I-65 near the 35-mile marker.

Officials stated that the crash occurred around 4 p.m. on Sept. 4.

Swindle was a passenger in a Jeep when it left the road, hit a tree, and overturned, according to officials. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver was taken to University Hospital for her injuries.
