FAIRHOPE, Ala. (WKRG) — The annual Gulf Coast Nature Expo is scheduled for next month, but in a different location, a news release said.

South Alabama Land Trust, which hosts the annual event, said this year's event will be held Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Week's Bay Plantation in Fairhope.

The free event is open to the public and is aimed at "celebrating conservation, environmental education and family fun," according to the release.

Local nonprofit and government conservation organizations will host live raptor shows, marine life touch tanks, interactive nature exhibits and art activities as part of the event. They will also have booths set up where attendees can learn more about what they do and how residents can get involved.
