AUSTINTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) - Signage has been approved for a new Long John Silver's in Austintown.

Long John Silver's used to be in the same building as the Taco Bell on Route 46, but plans changed after a remodel of that Taco Bell and the seafood restaurant made plans to move down the street.

The new Long John Silver's location is at 871 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

The restaurant is using an existing signpost there, but wanted to raise it a few feet. It got the OK from zoning this week.
