PHOENIX – Ramp closures dominate weekend freeway work in the Valley as crews deal with a variety of projects following a Labor Day break.

Here is what is planned from Friday night, Sept. 5, until Monday morning, Sept. 8, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation:

The northbound Interstate 17 off-ramp at Loop 303/Sonoran Desert Drive will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for setting a work zone as part of a project to widen the exit.

Detour: Consider exiting northbound I-17 to westbound Dove Valley Road and using southbound 43rd Avenue to reach westbound Loop 303.

The eastbound Loop 202 on-ramp at Price Road will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Sunday for a widening project.
