Mike Vrabel took a measured approach to Bill Belichick's pettiness.
In his first season as the head coach of the North Carolina football program, Belichick has banned Patriots scouts from attending Tar Heels practices. Former NFL scout John Middlekauff first reported New England's scouts were banned before multiple reports doubled and tripled down. Vrabel confirmed the ban, as well.

However, the first-year Patriots head coach, who won three Super Bowls during eight seasons playing for Belichick, is keeping his focus on his own team.
"Oh, no, that's an individual choice," Vrabel said at Gillette Stadium on Friday. "We'll cross that bridge when we start looking at players. I'm going to focus on our football team."
