SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — Survivors of this summer’s devastating storms and floods across parts of Texas, including the Concho Valley, now have more time to apply for financial help.

The U.S. Small Business Administration has extended the deadline to apply for disaster loans to Sept. 28. The extension applies to homeowners, renters, businesses and nonprofits affected by the severe storms, straight-line winds and flooding that hit the region between July 2 and July 18.

Counties eligible for both physical and economic assistance include Tom Green, McCulloch, Menard, Kerr, Kimble, San Saba, Burnet, Guadalupe, Travis and Williamson. Economic injury loans are also available to surrounding counties, including Concho County.
