The Dysart Unified School District kicked off an “Attendance Matters” contest districtwide this month, which coincides with National School Attendance Month.
Two schools will compete each week to see who can increase their attendance rate the most, and in the spring, the top schools will compete in the “Attendance Matters” Madness Playoffs to determine an overall champion.
Schools and the district will be sharing information and reminders with parents and students about the importance of good attendance throughout the year.
