It was a roller-coaster season for Brantford’s Erika Polidori and the Canadian national women’s softball team.
Canada captured the 2025 WSBC Americas Women’s Pan American Championship in Colombia in early July, finished second right after that at the 2025 Canada Cup in Surrey, BC, and then wound up fourth at the 2025 World Games in China in August.
“Our event in Colombia went really well,” said Polidori. “We did everything we wanted and won the event, which was great.
“We had a good Canada Cup as well and then honestly, the World Games, we ended up fourth which was a huge disappointment for us.
“But I think overall the summer there were lots of good things, for sure.”
