CRIS Collinsworth uncomfortably defended a major decision made by Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones live on NBC.

The NBC color commentator gave his stance during the Philadelphia Eagles ' 24-20 win over the Cowboys in the NFL 's season opener.

Last week, the Cowboys stunned the world by trading All-Pro pass rusher Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers .

Jones' Dallas squad received defensive tackle Kenny Clark and two first-round picks in the deal.

The Cowboys clearly missed Parsons' pass-rushing abilities in the Week 1 game as Jalen Hurts was sacked just once and recorded two rushing touchdowns.

But Collinsworth made sure to tell TV viewers that Jones made the correct call in trading Parsons, who has posted 12 sacks in each of his four seasons in the league.
